Zeehaven IJmuiden N.V. streamlines work processes with ShipLogic

As of 1 January 2025, Zeehaven IJmuiden N.V. has adopted ShipLogic, the innovative port management information system. Replacing two previous systems, ShipLogic streamlines both operational and administrative processes, making port management more efficient and user-friendly.

Better vessel management with Port Community integration

All vessel movements, from sea-going vessels to inland shipping and fishing, are now registered in ShipLogic. For the handling of declarations of sea-going vessels, an integration with the Dutch Maritime Single Window of Portbase has been included in the subscription. This gives the harbour masters 24/7 access to current and relevant shipping information.

Additionally, the precise operational recording ensures that ShipLogic automatically and flawlessly calculates the port and quay fees. The software is fully integrated with the financial system of Zeehaven IJmuiden N.V., eliminating the need for manual entry. Application manager Marc Buijs played a key role in this integration and ensured a smooth configuration within the financial package.
